He has just tasted big success in the form of Aashiqui 2. And immediately after the film became a blockbuster, Aditya Roy Kapur bought himself a swanky new set of wheels. And guess who happened to be his first co-passenger in the new luxury sedan? None other than good friend Ranbir Kapoor, who also shared his feelings with Aditya about the first car that he had bought with his own money (apparently, Ranbir recently spent a fortune on a super luxury car too).

“Ranbir didn’t drive the car, but I took him for a ride on the first day itself. He is happy for me. Ranbir was like, ‘I know how it feels to buy your first big car.’ He told me how he felt when he got his maiden vehicle. I guess the feelings are the same,” says Aditya, with a smile. Incidentally, he has also worked with Ranbir in the blockbuster, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. “He is a car junkie who is constantly updating and upgrading,” says Aditya.

As for Aditya, he has bought a new car after driving a very old vehicle for years. “Yes, it was famous for all the wrong reasons,” he says with a laugh. “I drove that car for many years. I still have my old car and love it a lot. I feel, the more the merrier.”
