Shah Rukh Khan has presented a superbike worth over

15 lakh bike to his Chennai Express director Rohit Shetty, Salman Khan is giving Kareena Kapoor a BMW for doing
an item number in Dabangg 2 without charging for it, and Sanjay Dutt took off his

10 lakh Hublot watch and gifted it to the action director of Zanjeer.
The list doesn’t end there. Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg gifted his coffee table book to Amitabh Bachchan, and actor Sonu Sood too gave a high-end watch to director Sanjay Gupta for portraying his character of Dawood Ibrahim really well. “I feel this is definitely one of my best roles till date. Sanjay is my brother and it was something that I did on impulse,” he says.
Industry experts say giving expensive gifts is an accepted form of acknowledging a favour in Bollywood. “Giving gifts in return for work builds better relations, and gives good publicity,” says trade analyst Atul Mohan.
