Christmas may be far away but Bollywood has already put on its Santa cap. And, the gifts couldn’t get any grander.

Shah Rukh Khan has presented a  superbike worth over Rs. 15 lakh bike to his Chennai Express director Rohit Shetty, Salman Khan is giving Kareena Kapoor a BMW for doing
an item number in Dabangg 2 without charging for it, and Sanjay Dutt took off his Rs. 10 lakh Hublot watch and gifted it to the action director of Zanjeer.

The list doesn’t end there. Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg gifted his coffee table book to Amitabh Bachchan, and actor Sonu Sood too gave a high-end watch to director Sanjay Gupta for portraying his character of Dawood Ibrahim really well. “I feel this is definitely one of my best roles till date. Sanjay is my brother and it was something that I did on impulse,” he says.

Industry experts say giving expensive gifts is an accepted form of acknowledging a favour in Bollywood. “Giving gifts in return for work builds better relations, and gives good publicity,” says trade analyst Atul Mohan.

Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday present to his Chennai Express filmmaker Rohit Shetty was a designer superbike worth over Rs. 15 lakh.

Spielberg big book gift
Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg gifted Amitabh Bachchan his coffee table book. “A gift for me from him... his coffee table book. What he wrote inside cannot be disclosed,” tweeted Big B.

Sallu to bebo: a BMW
Known for his generosity in the form of expensive gifts, Salman Khan’s latest gift is a BMW for Kareena Kapoor, as she didn’t charge him for the item song, Fevicol Se.

Luxury watch from Sonu
Sonu Sood presented a luxury watch to his Shootout at Wadala director Sanjay Gupta, for portraying his character of Dawood Ibrahim really well.

Dutt presents a Rs. 10 lakh watch
Actor Sanjay Dutt took off his Hublot watch and gifted it to the action director of his next film, the upcoming Zanjeer remake, for a great scene.
