Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is reportedly having major issues with her husband Kris Humphries, just two months after they got married in a lavish $10 million wedding in California.
Kardashian, 31, is attempting to juggle her television shows and money making ventures, while Humphries
remains unemployed because of the current NBA lockout.
“Kris is not drinking the Kardashian Kool-Aid, and it’s causing major problems,” Contactmusic quoted a source close to the couple as saying. The problems between them culminated in a huge fight days before her birthday on 21st October.
“They had it out...She told him he needs to do something productive...He needs to get off his a**, like, yesterday, “ said another source.
Speculation of a rift intensified when they were spotted in the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ audience showing little affection towards each another. “On some levels she feels like she made a mistake,” a source added.
Interestingly, new reports have surfaced suggesting that Kris Humphries wasn’t Kim Kardashian’s first choice as a boyfriend, she preferred a hunky Italian basketball star.
It comes in support of earlier reports that suggested Kardashian wed Humphries in a marriage of convenience as she uses him as a sexy 6’9” accessory on the red carpet.
According to Wetpaint.com, before the brunette beauty met her new husband, she was so eager to date a basketball player that E! Television wanted to fix with her, RadarOnline.com reported.
Wetpaint claimed that E! Television staff contacted the New York Knicks to ask if hunky Italian basketball star Danilo Gallinari would be interested in dating Kim.
According to the insider, both E! and Kardashian were interested in having her date a big New York athlete for the debut season of ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’, which premiered in January 2011.
The insider said “Danilo said he would love to meet Kim but was not interested in dating her or being on a reality show.”
“Even though E! explained it would be great for his career, Gallinari turned the offer down." the insider added.
