Every couple doesn't live 'happily ever after.' Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from new husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage. But to refresh memories, Kim-Kris aren't the only celebs to call it quits so soon. Here's a dekko at other celebs.
“I don’t want to use the word ‘uncooperative,’ but they are not making the process easier,” E! quoted Humphries’ attorney, Marshall Waller, as telling the judge.
Waller said that he had requested but was yet to obtain business records from Jenner and that he wouldn’t depose her until he received the records.
Waller is also seeking the information from companies that produce her reality shows, in an effort to prove that the couple’s 72-day marriage was a fraud.
Kardashian’s rapper boyfriend West, is also among the 33 witnesses he plans to depose.
However, Kardashian’s attorney, Laura Wasser, complained to the judge that West was served with a summons from Humphries’ attorneys by a “strange individual outside my client’s house,” saying that “he had a box for Mr. West.”
She also said that it was unnecessary, since she would have gladly given the name of West’s attorney to Waller.
“To say I am frustrated is an understatement.I’m at a loss to figure out what the holdup is. They had a prenup and were married 72 days,” she told the judge.
She said that Kardashian had already incurred $250,000 in legal fees, which she planned to bill to Humphries.
“We are going to ask for every cent of those fees back from his client.
“To what end does he want this annulment?” she told the judge.
