“Who wouldn’t? She believes in herself and goes for it. I would love to be associated with her film. Having said that, my journey is my own. I stand on my own and don’t depend on others,” she states.
The actor, who was last seen in Murder 3 this year, says this is a good time for talented people in the film industry. “Industry is changing. Talented people are getting chances. Directors believe in talent. For me, it’s important to work with good directors who push me and bring out the best in me,” she points out.
The London, Paris, New York star will next be seen in Anthony D’Souza’s Boss. “It’s a big scale, masala entertainment film. It has great songs. I’m paired opposite Shiv Pandit. I got to work with the people I have grown up watching like Mithun Chakraborty, Johnny Lever and Danny Denzongpa. It was great working with Akshay (Kumar) too. Boss has a male dominated cast and I was the only girl, so I was spoilt on the sets,” she recalls happily.
