"My granddaughter is called Aaradhya", Amitabh Bachchan has posted on Twitter, putting to rest six months of speculation over the name of Abhishek and Aishwarya's child. Abhishek and Aishwarya welcomed their first child, a daughter, Nov 16 last year and since then fans have been curious

to know her name.

The 69-year-old revealed the name when one of his fans, Haseena Wazeer, asked him about it on Twitter.

Hasween tweeted: "@SrBachchan sir (Amitabh Bachchan) want to see your lovely grand daughter...would really appreciate your reply with her name. Would love to know that. Thankyou."

The megastar replied: "Her name is Aaradhya".

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is all set to grace Cannes Film Festival for the 11th time, would be accompanied by her 5-months-old daughter Aaradhya.

“Yes, Aishwarya will be going to Cannes this year. We can’t confirm about Abhishek yet, but Aishwarya won’t travel without Aradhya for sure,” the source told DNA.

The actor who's busy playing mommy to Beti B will reportedly walk the ramp for two consecutive days. L'oreal has also confirmed Ash's presence.
