Cruise and Kidman, who were married for more than 10 years, separated in 2001 with the actor citing irreconcilable
differences. The ex-couple have two kids together, reported Daily Mail.
Post the split Cruise went on to marry actor Katie Holmes but the Dawson's Creek star recently filed for divorce from him. They were married for five years and have a six-year-old daughter Suri.
"Nicole won't talk, wants her privacy, wants to be left out of this and they (she and Cruise) don't speak much. Communication between her and Tom is very limited. Nicole really does not want to be dragged into this or say anything to anyone. At some point though, she will probably be forced to say something, and she will most likely support Tom for the sake of their children," a source said.
Kidman, who was said to be shocked when Cruise filed for divorce in 2001 – only two months after they renewed their vows – has kept a hugely low profile since Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise last week. Kidman is currently married to singer Keith Urban and they raise two daughters together.
