Sonakshi Sinha went solo to promote her upcoming film Joker in Mumbai. But then Sonakshi was not alone. Accompanying her were the cute aliens.
Since her father Shatrughan Sinha hails from the city, the girl is believed to have a major fan following there. And that’s the reason that during Dabangg (2010), and again during Rowdy Rathore, there were initial discussions that she would travel to Bihar’s capital. She planned to go to the city with Joker, but now, that too isn’t working out.
“At the initial stages, when marketing plans were being chalked out, it was planned that Sona would travel to Patna to promote Joker. But as the makers were trying to finalise plans about 10 days ago, the idea was dropped as she is supposed to fly to Oman to shoot Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2(OUATIM),” says an insider from the organising team.

The insider adds, “Sonakshi wasn’t informed formally about the Patna visit. It wasn’t finalised because they were waiting for OUATIM 2 dates. Now that the dates are clashing, Patna is out of the question.”
The makers of Joker remained unavailable for comments, while Sonakshi’s manger denied the story.
