Raveena Tandon arrived in a fuschia pink sari at the Golden Petal awards.
Raveena Tandon, who inaugurated a fashion event in Mumbai recently, has come down heavily on ‘stick-thin’ women in the glamour industry, who she feels are a bad example for the younger generation of women in India. “I have always believed in a woman’s elegance, grace and femininity. Today most of
the girls are stick-thin and that’s a tragedy. They have made life tough for women like me,” the 38-year-old said.

The actor who became synonymous with her dance number Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast from the film Mohra (1994) also added, “Today, when girls dance on-screen, it looks like two dandiya sticks dancing. It’s funny. I don’t understand this concept of being of an abnormally small size. I am a normal size, I am an average person, and I am happy with my size.”
