Pran recuperating at Lilavati hospital

Pran bagged the Phalke icon and Legendary cine versatile star award.

Veteran Bollywood actor Pran, who is hospitalised since December, is recuperating and his health is much better now, his family said today. The 92-year-old was admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra on December 25 and continues to be there. "He is still in the hospital. He is

much better. There is nothing serious," his daughter Pinky told PTI. On his long stay there, she said it was for regular check-ups and there is nothing to worry. In November last year soon after Diwali, the senior actor was hospitalised after a health scare but was discharged soon. Pran, one of the most popular villains of Bollywood, has acted in around 350 films, with 'Badi Behen', 'Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai', 'Half Ticket', Purab Aur Paschim', 'Don', Zanjeer' being the notable ones.

In 2001, he was honored with Padma Bhushan for his contribution towards Indian Cinema.
