Adele, who recently announced that she is pregnant, may also be expecting a wedding as her boyfriend is reportedly planning to propose to her.

The 23-year-old announced on Friday that she and her boyfriend of nearly a year, Simon Konecki, a 38-year-old nonprofit CEO, are expecting their first

child together. Konecki was planning to go down his knees marriage to the singer before he learned she was pregnant, according to sources.

“He was planning to propose anyway!” Us magazine quoted a source as saying.

Raised by a single mom, a pal of the singer told the tabloid that Adele "wants a low-key affair where her mother gives her away." More than anything, “she wants to be a wife and mom,” the friend added.
