Actor Sharmila Tagore has invited President Pranab Mukherjee for the October 16 wedding of her son, actor Saif Ali Khan with actor Kareena Kapoor.

Tagore met Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan recently, during which he congratulated her on the wedding, official sources said. The sources added
that Mukherjee was unlikely to attend the ceremony.
