Recently, Priyanka Chopra got the words ‘daddy’s little girl’ inked on her wrist. And now, as her father, Dr Ashok Chopra, goes through a lean phase on the health front, the actor is living up to her tattoo and going out of the way to make him feel special. She has decided to celebrate her new

awards with him and not with friends at parties.

Chopra Sr has always been around at awards functions to cheer his daughter on. But since he has been unwell for the past few days, he couldn’t go to the Big Star Entertainment Awards, where Priyanka won the Best Actress trophy.

“After winning the first award of the season for her role in Barfi! (2012), Priyanka headed straight home to celebrate the win with her father. And now she has also decided that whenever she wins again, she will meet her father and celebrate her happiness with him, instead of partying the night away with her friends,” says an insider.

In fact, after winning the Big Star award, Priyanka even said, “I would like to head straight home to be with my dad as I had
promised him that if I win I would come home and celebrate with him.”

Despite repeated attempts, PC couldn’t be reached for a comment. The actor also celebrated New Year’s Eve with her father and the rest of her family, after turning down three offers to perform on the day.
