Indian technician Resul Pookutty, along with Richard Pryke and Ian Tapp won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing for the film Slumdog Millionaire.

Oscar winner sound recordist Resul Pookutty has clarified that his recent remarks in a recorded interview about TV show Satyamev Jayate being doctored were not intended to attack actor and the show’s host, Aamir Khan.

“I’m not saying I did not say those things, but that was by way of

explaining how the craft is done,” Pookutty was quoted as saying, as he reiterated his high regard for Aamir’s work.
