“Baba hadn’t taken a break for some time, so when he got a few days off from the shoot of Sher, he decided to utilise them by taking off discreetly for Paris. Once he returns (in about ten days), he will immediately get back to shoot Sher. The film wasn’t easy to shoot considering they are using real locations in Rajasthan, where it’s very hot,” says an industry insider.
But Dutt is taking care of whatever work he can from Paris itself. So, he has instructed his business partner (on SFL) Raj Kundra to keep him in the loop about all the developments from the TV show, SFL Challengers. “Yes, Sanju is very passionate and closely involved, so he keeps asking me who has lost, who has won,” says Kundra.
Once Dutt is back from his break, he has to take care of a number of back-to-back releases. While Son of Sardaar releases in November, Zilla Ghaziabad has also been waiting — for some time now — to hit theatres. The last one will be Sher, which is directed by Soham Shah.
