Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray was close to several Bollywood celebrities incuding the likes of bigwigs like Amitabh Bachchan and Lata Mangeshkar, all of whom have been expressing their sorrow at the big loss. But as Balasahib breathed his last, actor Shah Rukh Khan had a different regret.


The actor took to Twitter to express his guilt for not making peace and 'building bridges' with the political icon.

In his tweet, he spoke about how he wrote, "We avoid building bridges out of personal issues & then it gets too late. i should hav gone & met BalaSahib. Will miss our chats R.I.P. sir... (sic)"

Amitabh Bachchan mourned the loss
Sr Bachchan too, tweeted his sorrow at the death of the Shiv Sena supremo, relaying several anecdotes from their time together and giving a close account of Thackeray's struggle over the last few days.
