Siddharth Malhotra also makes his debut with Student Of The Year.

Actor Siddharth Malhotra who debuted with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year barely has a handful friends in Mumbai.

However the actor is keen to interact with and make friends with people who are not from the industry. The 28-year-old has been surfing social networking websites and has made

quite a few friends online.

Says a source, “He is from Delhi and doesn’t know too many people in Mumbai. While because of his film, he has got to know some people in the movie business, he also wants to hang out with some non industry people.” The actor is currently working on Johar’s Hasee Toh Phasi with Parineeti Chopra. The source adds, “He is usually chatting online and taking feedback from people. He feels connected to them and thinks that it is a sort of window into different people’s lives.”
