For model-turned-actor Jacqueline Fernandes, there is no problem in working in multi-starrer films. The 27-year old, who visited HT City’s office last week to promote her upcoming movie, Race 2, said, “I have absolutely no problem working in multi-starrers. They are fun and you get to work with
some great actors on the set.”
The Sri Lankan origin actor also had good things to say about co-star John Abraham. “When I first came to Mumbai, John was the first one who helped me settle down in the city. He is a hard worker and I learnt so much from him,” she said.
The Housefull 2 star also revealed that she is very close to actors Sonam Kapoor and Asin Thottumkal. “We just have so much in common. We talk a lot, some of it is obviously gossip, plus we also discuss each others’ roles.” Interestingly, Jacqueline said that Sonam is her fashion guru. “I take a lot of advice from Sonam. She tells me what to wear and what not to wear.”
While speaking on fashion, Jacqueline said it is very important for actors to look ‘presentable’. “People take inspiration from you, they look up to you, so you have to be confident about your image all the time. You should be presentable. Having said that, one should not be someone they are not. They should be comfortable in what they wear,” she said.
