Rekha attends Vidya Balan's Mehendi ceremony
Vidya Balan, on Wednesday, had a mehendi ceremony at her home, which was attended only by her family.
One celebrity spotted at the function was veteran actor Rekha, who arrived with vermillion (sindoor) in her hair parting, traditionally a mark of married Hindu women.

The two are known to be very close and Vidya has often said that she admires the legendary actor, who like her, also hails from Chennai.
After the ceremony, Vidya stepped out with her parents and elder sister and held up her hands to show her mehendi to the waiting media.
The actor was dressed in a Bengali style Sabyasachi Mukherjee sari paired with pearl ornaments. At the wedding, she will wear two saris since there’s a change in sari for rituals at Tamil marriages.
Sabyasachi has designed the saris in warm-shaded silk sourced from Chennai.

Rumours about Vidya Balan and her impending wedding with UTV Motion Pictures head honcho, Siddharth Roy Kapur, in the city on December 14 have been doing the rounds for a while. A source close to Vidya Balan's latest film Ghanchakkar has revealed that the entire schedule of Ghanchakkar was planned according to her wedding plans. In fact her work in Ghanchakkar is being rush-completed in time for her wedding preparations. Says a source, "It seems Vidya and Mr Kapur had chalked out the wedding plans long in advance. More on the couple
Vidya Balan came close to Siddharth Roy Kapur in 2010 during the shooting of his studio's film, No One Killed Jessica. She admitted dating the UTV honcho in an interview in May 2012.
Since then, the two have been spotted together at private parties and vacations.
Siddharth Roy Kapur had also bought a sea-facing apartment in Juhu, Mumbai for his ladylove which reportedly cost him approx. Rs. 14 crore. The two are rumoured to be living-in together also.
The actress described her relationship as tasty. "Undhiyu is the word that describes our relationship - tasty, sweet, spicy and salty. It has everything," she had said earlier in an interview.
