The crowds that gathered to watch designer Ritu Beri’s fashion show for kids on Saturday had an ‘aww’ moment thanks to the chief guest, actor Abhishek Bachchan.
When three-year-old Sunehra walked the ramp, she noticed her shoe-laces had come undone and burst into tears. Abhishek, father of a
16-month-old himself, couldn’t resist jumping on to the ramp and tied the laces of her left shoe.
The child, unaware of the attention she was getting from the Bollywood star, then pointed towards her other shoe, and amid much applause, the actor dutifully obliged. He was later seen cheering the little ‘models’ loudly and even danced with them onstage. “I love children. There’s nothing more fun than watching them walk the ramp much more confidently than adults,” said Abhishek.
