When Sonam Kapoor met the Dalai Lama

The Dalai Lama was in Mumbai on Tuesday, and one of the few lucky people who got to meet him was none other than actor Sonam Kapoor.
Attending the World Compassion Day event, Sonam, alongwith her father Anil Kapoor, was most excited about meeting His Holiness. A source close to the actor
says, "Sonam flew down from Delhi, where she was shooting for Raanjhanaa. She took a two-day break as she didn't want to miss the opportunity of meeting the Dalai Lama."
Sonam, who came with her mother Sunita, sat throughout the event, which saw speakers talking about ahimsa (compassion towards all life). She supports the cause as well. Later, Sonam went on stage and had a quick chat with the Dalai Lama. Sonam says, "I am very excited to have met him and to have got his blessings."
