TV actor Shabbir Ahluwalia is best known for his role as Rishi in Kahiin To Hoga.
Actor Shabbir Alhuwalia has got into production for the second time, and this time around, the 33-year-old is producing the show Savitri, the shooting of which started in January 2013. The show will be aired on Life Ok! and the former Shootout at Lokhandwala star reveals that the serial is of the
supernatural genre and will incorporate paranormal and mythical elements. “It is going to be a mega love story. Starting in the present era, the story will move across 1000 years and will involve a lot of fantasy, supernatural and paranormal elements. It is going to be a great visual experience for the audience and I hope that it gets a good response from the audience,” said Shabbir. The other USP of the show, says the actor, is that they will be using original music. “Given the setting of the serial, we have included songs as well. However, these are not songs taken from Bollywood, but are specially composed and produced for this show,” said Shabbir.

The show is being shot in Kolkota. Asked why he chose the City of Joy as the backdrop of the serial, he said, “I think Kolkota has a lot of character. Also, I think it is the only city where there is a beautiful connection between the past and future.”
