Aamir's Satyamev Jayate banned in Karnataka
Aamir Khan's much awaited television debut Satyamev Jayate, which starts on May 6, will not be broadcast in Karnataka. The state has imposed the ban due to its policy to disallow all dubbed serials or movies in the state.

"Out of 58 serials on air every day, you have so much production,
post-production etc. So many people are involved, and they depend on this. Once dubbing comes, half the programmes will be imported. All actors will become dubbing actors,” Ravi Kiran, the President of Karnataka Television Association, told CNN IBN.

However, the public is not happy with the decision as they were looking forward to Aamir's show.

The 3 Idiots star has been going all out to keep everything related to his maiden show under wraps. As a result, no one is aware of the format or treatment of the show.

Aamir has travelled extensively over several weeks to various places in Rajasthan, Kashmir, Kerala, Delhi, Punjab and several North-Eastern states.

Aamir and music director Ram Sampath of Delhi Belly fame have created roughly 16 songs to go with each of the episodes. The actor will also launch a music album once the show comes to an end.
