Actor Shruti Seth , best remembered as Jia, the girl with magical powers in the TV show Shararat, says Indian TV shows are clones of each other.

“I see Indian television (shows) as just a bunch of clones. All the shows, characters and stories are just the same. They look the same and the dialogues are also same at times,” says Shruti.
“On TV, I can’t tell the difference between any two actors. They are doing the same thing and wearing the same clothes, which is is very unfortunate,” says the 35-year-old actor, who has also featured in shows like Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand and Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr. She has also hosted shows like Comedy Circus.
She will now be seen in the second season of the family comedy show, The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir. The show had a successful first season, which wrapped in October 2012. The new season will go on air January 27. In the show, Shruti plays Priti Jaiswal, mother of twin sons — Karan and Kabir.
