The dysfunctional family will also lose a “major character” in their latest season that went on air on September 30 in the US. “It could be anyone, any one of our six main casts,” showrunner Steve Callaghan reportedly said.

The 2009 film featured a montage capturing moments of Ellie and Carl’s lives over a musical score. Considered to be one of the most moving scenes by Pixar, Ellie’s death had fans reaching for their tissues.

The Lion King
The ‘Circle of Life’ can be cruel and Simba finds this out early in life when he loses his father, Mufasa, to stampeding wild beasts and is consumed by guilt. The poignant moment leaves a lump in your throat.

Spider-Man
Now who would have thought that “Spidey” could ever be bumped off. And though Marvel Comics is known to bring characters back from the dead, losing the web-slinging Peter Parker was hard.

Bambi
Often making it to the list of “10 Traumatic Disney Moments”, parents are known to prepare kids for the scene in which Bambi loses his mother to the bullet of a deer hunter. Heart-breaking stuff.
