Sources close to the development of the project say that celebrity couples are being considered this time around as well. One of these couples is Delnaz Irani and Rajeev Paul who recently got divorced. When asked about these rumours, Delnaz says, “I have not been approached. I am busy with other commitments like a couple of movies, so it won’t be possible. Maybe the rumours are simply about dropping names.” Her ex-husband Rajeev Paul says, “I haven’t heard from Bigg Boss himself, but I would love to do the show. I hope someone reads this and calls me soon. Currently, I am hosting shows and releasing my book of poetry internationally and music, so my hands are full.”
Another star couple that has been approached is Gaurav Chopra and Mouni Roy, who were dating and have recently spilt. However, Gaurav too refused to confirm the news saying, “I can’t talk about it yet.”Others in the running include Aman Verma and tarot card reader Munisha Khatwani who are rumoured to be dating, choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan and TV actor Manish Goyal. Among international celebrities, reports are that American reality show actor Kim Kardashian has been approached for the show as well. The buzz is that instead of one non-celebrity, there will be two in the house, taking the tally to 14 contestants in total. On being contacted regarding the names, the Colors spokesperson says, “We don’t comment on speculative names.”
