Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty appeared in the music reality show Indian Idol 5, dressed as a cowboy.

The 60-year-old actor also adopted a unique way to give his judgement on the performances of the contestants.

Mithun announced that if he likes a contestants' performance he will trigger the gun twice and if he loves a contestants' performance he will trigger the gun thrice.

The National-Award winning actor, who has been part of films like Mrigayaa, Agneepath, Pyar Ka Mandir, Mujrim and Guru, among others, took one of the contestants, Shivam for a drive in his Mercedes, because the latter had never travelled in a big car and wished to do so. 

Indian Idol 5 that airs on Sony Entertainment Television, is left with only five contestants and is nearing its grand finale.
