New ‘Prem’ in Simar’s life

While last month Color’s popular show Balika Vadhu had Toral Rasputra stepping into the shoes of protagonist, Anandi, erstwhile played by Pratyusha Banerji, actor Dheeraj Dhoopar has now replaced Shoaib Ibrahim in the show Sasural Simar Ka, on the same channel.
Dhoopar, 24, who has earlier
worked in shows such as Swarg, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Kaali etc, will play the role of Prem, the husband of the show’s leading lady, Simar.
“It’s a popular show and stepping into Prem’s character will be a challenge. I’d like to give the character my personal touch. Moreover, I’ll have to fulfill expectations of the audiences and I’m optimistic that with the course of time, I’ll be able to fulfill them,” he says.
