Vidya Balan will be part of the Cannes Film Festival’s prestigious international jury presided over by Steven Spielberg. The nine-member jury consists of Nicole Kidman, Ang Lee and Christopher Waltz among others.

As an actor, Vidya Balan is known to go all out to immerse herself in the films that she signs. For her next release, Ghanchakkar, she’s gone a step further. She’s allowed a few of her personal items to be used in the film.

Most of Indian women change their surname post-marriage and actress Vidya Balan, who married Siddharth Roy Kapoor last year, is reportedly no different.

Actress Vidya Balan will shoot a quirky music video for Ghanchakkar, which will be dedicated to men. Director Rajkumar Gupta says women folk would relate to it. Gupta also added that the video will be fun.
