Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani own a production company together and have been friends since over a decade.
The makers of Fukrey, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani seem to be having a tough time with the choice of title for their upcoming film. Apparently, most people — comprising friends from the industry - seem to confuse it with a very commonly used cuss word and think that the makers have
deliberately used the title without keeping letter ‘c’ before the ‘k’.

We’ve heard that Farhan and Ritesh have been going to great lengths to clarify to their friends that fukrey is a Hindi slang meaning vagabonds. Ask Ritesh about this and he says, “Everytime Farhan and I talk to people about our film, Fukrey, they are clueless. We need to explain to them what the name actually means.”

This man is possibly one of the most versatile and talented members of the Hindi film industry. While most actors venture later into producing and directing films, Farhan Akhtar is one of the few stars with a reverse career graph!
