A global travel company has launched a competition for a “dream job,” which offers an all-expenses paid blogging trip around the world.
My Destination is calling on Australians to submit their entries to their “Biggest, baddest, bucket list” competition.
The winner of the contest
will be able to create their own itinerary, choosing a minimum of 25 international destinations, the condition being that the trip must include at least two destinations from each continent, the Herald Sun reported.
The winner will also receive 50,000 dollars as reward.
The job requires the winner to blog along the way and take part in at least one local experience in each destination like visiting a landmark, tasting a local delicacy, staying with a family or an adrenaline-filled activity.
Travel expenses, accommodation, activities and 10,000 dollars spending money while there are included in the job.
Those wishing to enter the contest need to create their own video about an inspiring destination, write a blog post about an interesting travel experience they’ve had and take three pictures to go with the post.
The best ten candidates will make it through to the shortlist, five chosen by My Destination and five chosen by visitors to the website. Then the top 3 will be chosen in April, before the final winner is announced on May 7.
Ben Southall, winner of Tourism Queensland’s “dream job” in 2009, will be a guest judge on the panel.
