Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was heard telling friends that her 16-month-old daughter, Aaradhya, can recite Gayatri Mantra fluently, at a recent event in Mumbai.
“Aishwarya said, "Aaradhya can not only recite numbers from 1-10 and alphabet from A-Z, she has learnt to say the whole
Gayatri Mantra as well,’” a source was quoted as telling a Mumbai tabloid.

In an earlier interview, actor Abhishek Bachchan had said that his daughter Aaradhya would have the liberty to choose a career for herself, adding that a parent's job is just to give "love, care and good education" to the child.
He said, "Talking about my daughter, I think it is completely her (Aaradhya) choice, let her decide her career as and when she wants too.”
“As a parent it is not about material goods. The gifts a parent can give the children are love, care, education and understanding. These are the most important gifts any parent can give. As far as I am concerned, taking care of the child is never just a mother’s role. It’s all about sharing responsibilities," Abhishek said.
