Salman Khan
The latest ruling by a Mumbai court that Salman Khan, who is undergoing trial in the 2002 hit-and-run case, should face homicide charges, has worried the actor’s fans and the film industry alike.

If found guilty, Salman could get a maximum punishment of 10 years of
imprisonment.

Industry experts feel there is lot at stake since Salman is set to star in two films this year — Mental and Kick. “He is undoubtedly the biggest star in the industry and there is lot of money riding on him. One can only hope for the best,” says trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Sallu’s brother and director of Mental, Sohail, is also worried, but his other brother Arbaaz, refuses to comment “as the matter is still in court.”

Fan Priya Vij, 22, says, “If the ruling goes against him, it will be a big loss for everyone.”
