Actor Bipasha Basu who is promoting Aatma, a supernatural thriller, in the Capital, has said that she does not regret not working with the three big Khans of Bollywood. “I don’t regret it. I have been in the industry for 14 years now and I am here to do what I want to do,” says Bipasha. Her
upcoming film is the second film in the supernatural genre in the last year.

Asked about sticking to stereotype, she says, “Well, the genre might be the same but the characters I play are different from each other. In fact, a lot of actors don’t go out-of-the-box, but I do. I do the irregular roles,” says the 34-year-old actor. Interacting with her fans in Delhi during her visit, Bipasha spoke about the need for mutual gender respect, when she was asked about her take on the recent spate of crimes against women in Delhi. “I think the people who indulge in such crimes are not human beings. It is really sad, and I’m sure everyone is against such crimes. I feel that a good way to fight this is by teaching children to respect the opposite gender,” she says.
