what happened: Nastase has been banned over derogatory comments about Serena and a foul-mouthed Fed Cup tirade.
what it means: Ilie Nastase, two-time Grand Slam winner, was in the ITF dock for his abusive behaviour as Romania’s Fed Cup captain in a tie with Britain in Bucharest in April.
what next: Ilie Nastase has been banned from all ITF competitions until December 2020 and fined $10,000.

what happened: At least 6 persons injured, cash looted in a bank robbery in Orai as criminals threw crude bombs.
what it means: The motorcycle-borne robbers attacked Central Bank's Mahavidyalaya Branch, Orai at 11.30 am.They neutralised the guard and threw bombs. Such a robbery was unheard of in the district in recent memory.
what next: Jalaun police said all the exit roads have been sealed.

what happened: Western Railway will  install 37 more water vending machines at suburban stations of Mumbai.
what it means: At these water vending machines, the passengers can buy RO processed water at affordable rate. Railway authorities have already installed 20 such machines on suburban stations of Western Railway.
what next: The Western Railway officials said it will take another couple of months to install all 37 machines.

what happened: India defeated Australia by 36 runs in the semis to reach the ICC Women's World Cup final.
what it means: Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten 171 as India posted a total of 281/4 in 42 overs. Australia lost early wickets in their chase, and despite Alex Blackwell's quickfire 90, fell short by 36 runs.
what next: India will face England in the final of the tournament at Lord's on Sunday.
