Genpact Limited, a leader in business process and technology management, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, to develop and implement an analytics elective for the two-year postgraduate diploma in management programme. The term
of the MoU is five years and students of the programme will be eligible for employment in Genpact’s analytics practice upon completion of the course. This course will give students both theoretical and practical work experience in analytics as applied in different industries. While the detailed courseware will be developed by IMT, Genpact will add industry perspective in the course conceptualisation, skill development and the training of faculty. Genpact will also provide the necessary support through guest lectures and arrange mid-term and extended internship projects for IMT students to gain experience on real-time data, projects and research papers at Genpact. “The emergence of big data, regulatory changes and social media are causing a big shift in the way businesses operate and students of IMT will learn how to combine process, analytics and technology to make organisations smarter in this dynamic new world, ” said Pankaj Kulshreshtha, senior vice president and business leader — Smart Decision Services — analytics and research, Genpact.
