The biggest MBA entrance exam - Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011 – is just a few days away. Aspirants are leaving no stone unturned in getting tips on  cracking the test – to be based on a new format.

HT Education, in association with MBAUniverse.com, is going to hold the fourth edition
of Mission MBA –a series for MBA aspirants from September 2011 to February 2012 in New Delhi. Mission MBA will include workshops featuring tips on how to crack CAT 2011, solving exclusive full-length mock tests on the new CAT pattern by CAT guru and author Arun Sharma. 

Sharma studied at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and has been training CAT hopefuls since 1996. He holds the unique distinction of clearing CAT successfully 11 times in a row, with a score of 99.99 percentile in CAT 2008.

Students can also seek guidance and clarifications from directors, deans and faculty members from the various IIMs and other top  B-schools on the new pattern of the test.
Besides this, aspirants can also get tips to succeed by previous years’ toppers, participate in quizzes and win prizes.

CAT 2011 will have only two sections and not three as earlier and test duration has been extended to 140 minutes. Candidates will have 70 minutes to answer 30 questions in each section. 

The two sections would be: quantitative ability & data interpretation and verbal ability and logical reasoning.

The venue for the first workshop is Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Usha & Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management (BULMIM), Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Delhi, on September 24, 2011 from 2pm to 4pm.

Students can also put forth their queries related to entrance tests for other B-schools, including Xavier Aptitude Test, Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, and how to qualify the group discussion and interview stage.
