Quizitalia 2012, an all-India college quiz series, is being held across the country in — Delhi on November 4, Chennai and Chandigarh on November 18, Mumbai in December.
 


The event was inaugurated in Delhi on October 14 as part of the Italian Language Week held worldwide and is
being organised under the aegis of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura (IIC), New Delhi, an official institution of the Republic of Italy. The IIC is actively involved in spreading the understanding of Italian traditions and culture in India by organising various cultural events.

A grand finale will be organised at the end of the year where the city winners will compete for the National Trophy. Participants will include students from engineering colleges, b-schools, schools of (fashion, interior, product) design, and some of the best general colleges in each city.

Entry is open to all college students who want to participate. The quiz is aimed at reaching out to the best students from the best colleges in the country and sensitising them to Italy, the excellence of Italian design, engineering, manufacturing and production. This series follows last year’s successful 10 City Quizitalia 2011 which was aimed at school children and featured quizzes at Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune.

Participants as well as audiences can look forward to an entertaining and informative series of events, as well as win attractive prizes.
