Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a mandatory written test for those seeking admission to the Symbiosis International University. If you clear the test you have to go through the selection processes of the Symbiosis Insitute of Business (SIBM), the Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD
(SCMHRD), or the Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) to qualify for admission to their post graduate programmes.  The test has around 60,000 takers every year. The two-hour test is divided into four sections. The A and LR questions carry two marks each and the others just one mark. The four sections carry 180 marks (total) with general English (reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, verbal ability) carrying 40 marks, quantitative, data interpretation and data sufficiency  carrying 40 marks, general awareness (general knowledge, current affairs, business scenario) carrying 40 marks and analytical and logical reasoning carrying 60 marks. Question selection and speed played important roles in SNAP 2010.
