Confusion prevailed over exact identity of the girl who came with chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Haridwar and was introduced as Snehlata, who has reportedly lost her parents in the Uttarakhand disaster.
It was also told that the girl belonged to Bhind.
The girl seems to be in a state of profound trauma and has been incoherent in giving details about herself and her family, leading to confusion.
According to the doctors attending her said that her name in PAN card that she carries is Neha Sharma and not Snehlata.
Meanwhile, surviving members of her family are being called from Bhind to get information about the girl.
They are supposed to reach here on Tuesday.
Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh on Monday demanded that an FIR should be registered against the chief minister for holding a press conference at Raja Bhoj airport.
In a press statement, Singh said chief minister’s visit to Haridwar to bring back pilgrims from the state is a welcome initiative but violating norms to get ‘cheap’ publicity and holding a press conference at the airport can’t be excused.
He further said if the chief minister wished his pictures splashed in newspapers and channels, he could have chosen some other place for holding the press conference, but a chief minister was not expected to hold a press conference in a high security zone in violation to law.
Asking the director, airport, to lodge an FIR with the police against the chief minister for violating rules, Singh recalled that some armed BJP leaders had intruded in Khajuraho airport, too, in the presence of the chief minister and BJP national president Rajnath Singh recently.
