A woman was injured when her mother-in-law allegedly pushed her off the roof of the house in Shivpuri, more than 300 kilometers north of Bhopal on Tuesday.
The victim, Deepti Kushwaha, 24, got fracture in both of her legs apart from injuries on the hands and stomach.
As per a report reaching here, Deepti gave birth to a girl last month and this allegedly angered her mother-in-law, Dakko Kushwaha. Deepti was married four years ago and has a two-year-old daughter.
Now the birth of another girl child upset her mother-in-law so much that she threw Deepti off the roof. The police have registered a case and have begun investigations.
