Bhutan PM lauds MP govt's hospitality

Bhutanese Prime Minister Jigme Y Thinley has lauded hospitality of state government to him during his recent Madhya Pradesh visit.

In a letter to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Thinley said his visit to Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of Sanchi Buddhist and Indic Studies University's inauguration was indeed delightful. This was a memorable journey for him.

As per a release, Thinley hoped that the Buddhist University will play a significant role in spreading and understanding Buddhism. Message of peace, harmony and mercy of Buddhism was most relevant in this era of great upheavals.

Referring to his discussions with the chief minister, Thinley said he was very much impressed by Chouhan's wish to further intensify ties between India and Bhutan.
