A minor gangrape victim from the capital has alleged that the kin of the two accused in the case are threatening her family with dire consequences and her with an acid attack to force them for a 'settlement' of the case.

The victim met state Mahila Congress president Archana Jaiswal on Saturday urging her to help girl's family in the matter.

Later, the 15-year-old girl, a resident of Bagh Munshi Hussain Khan, talked to the media and levelled allegations against the kin of the accused -- Amin and Abeed alias Shalu -- of her abduction and gangrape.

She also alleged that the police are not helping her family despite repeated petitions to officials at different level. The girl is demanding that the case of threatening be registered against five relatives of the two accused, including the sisters of Amin.

The girl told media that the two accused had abducted her on July 3, 2012, and kept her confined in a room at Babai in Hoshangabad district and raped her repeatedly. The police recovered her after three months. A case was then registered against the two accused and the matter is now in court.

However, two brothers and three sisters of the prime accused Amin, who stay in neighbourhood of the victim's family, allegedly threatened them every day with dire consequences, if the victim did not turn hostile in court.

"They threaten my father with false cases of drug hoarding and other crimes and to kill me or deface me with acid," she told media persons.

Fiance allegedly raped
A teenaged girl was allegedly raped by her fiancé in the state capital.

The victim, a 17-year-old girl, was engaged to Asif last year. The marriage had been fixed long back.

Recently, Asif lured the girl and took her along to Chiklod. The accused allegedly kept her in a farm and raped her. When the girl returned, she informed her parents and subsequently the police were approached.

The Talaiya police have registered a case of rape against the accused. Two other youngsters, who had been with the accused when he took the girl to Chiklod, has been booked for abduction, as the girl is a minor.
