Item song pulls Praksh Jha back to Bhopal

Even as shooting for the movie Chakravyuh was finished more than three months ago, Prakash Jha is back to Bhopal. This time, to shoot for an item song.



People both in Bhopal and Mumbai are surprised at Jha's sudden decision to come back to Bhopal to shoot an item song for Chakravyuh that is slated to release on October 24. Sensational Sameera Reddy has been roped in for this song. Singham-fame Murli Sharma and Sameera are in Bhopal for the shoot, which has started at Rizwanbagh area of Koh-e-fiza of old city. Choreographer Ganesh Acharya is also in here to add spice to the new item song to be introduced in the film.

Jha had completed his scheduled shoot in Bhopal, Pachmari and adjoining areas and left for Mumbai for the post production work.

“We are here to shoot for a song,” said Prakash Jha while talking to HT. It need mentioning that the film had already gone through film censor certification process. Earlier too, the flick shot into limelight when the Film Censor Board objected to a song in the film which said, “Tata, Birla, Ambani aur Bata, in sabne desh ko kata” (Tata, Birla, Ambani and Bata have exploited the nation). Later the matter was settled and Jha was allowed to use the song with a disclaimer.

Chakravyuh, based on naxalite problem, is the third film by Prakash Jha to be shot extensively in Madhya Pradesh. Abhay Deol, Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta, Manoj Vajpayee, Om Puri are in main roles in the movie.Earlier, he shot Rajneeti and Arakshan entirely in Bhopal.
