With the announcement of Rs. 10,000 on the head of second man named as Ganga Ram Prajapati in Jagdish Sagar’s gang, crime branch have launched a massive hunt in Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring states to nab him.
Prajapati was the secretary of Sagar and is absconding since July 15 along with his family.
Prajapati’s network was very strong and he was the only person who was the henchman of Sagar.
“He is a resident of Barwani and is also a suspended compounder of a community health centre in Anjad. He was suspended on 2008 over the shortage of attendance,” said ASP (crime) Dilip Soni.
Prajapati’s three sons, who are also doctors are also missing, police claimed. “He along with his family is missing. His sons Arvind Prajpati, is perusing MBBS from Index Medical College, Ajay Prajapati in Chirayu Medical College, Bhopal and Amit from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal,” said the ASP.
Sources said that police are scanning the admission papers of his sons as well. According to crime branch, Parajapati was in contact with Sagar for more than six years.
“He used to do all works of Sagar and police have got information that he used to reside with Sagar in Indore. His role was to identify the candidates and to brief them about the modus operandi of the examination,” added the ASP.
Police teams have been sent to Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Mahrashtra and other parts of Madhya Pradesh to nab Prajapati.
