The Bihar Police have felicitated a 15-year-old girl who thrashed an 18-year-old trying to rape her.

Madhepura superintendent of police Saurav Kumar Shah presented the Class 8 student, daughter of a daily wage earner, a cash award of Rs. 2,100 and a certificate of appreciation at the Republic Day function here on Saturday. “She has set an example for other girls to emulate. Her action is a tribute to womanhood,” Shah said.
