Nitish ignored Godhra carnage probe: Lalu Prasad

RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Friday alleged that Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and then railway minister did not get the Godhra carnage probed at the behest of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing a public meeting 'Parivartan Mahakumbh', Mr Prasad said in Gopalganj that Mr Kumar obeyed the dictates of Mr Modi and now was opposing him only for political mileage. He reiterated that Mr Kumar was a puppet in the hands of RSS and was working for the benefits of saffron brigade and their leaders.

The RJD leaders expressed concern over the arrest of several youth in the name of terrorism and said innocent youth of minorities were being harassed in the region North Bihar.

He also questioned the excise policy of the state government saying that there was mushroom growth of liquor shop in the state during the regime of Mr Kumar boasting of 'sushashan'.

Police to conduct polygraphic test on DIG Paraskar
