The Anti-Trafficking cell of CB-CID wing of Tamil Nadu police Thursday rescued three women, including a minor girl from flesh trade in the city and arrested four persons in this connection. Following a tip-off , CB-CID sleuths posing as decoys reached a brothel, where they found three
women including a minor girl being involved in prostitution, a CB-CID press release here said.

Soon more personnel rushed to the brothel and arrested four persons. Those arrested include a 42-year-old woman running the brothel and two others involved in trafficking women.

One woman hailing from Andhra Pradesh and two from northern districts of Tamil Nadu were rescued and lodged in a home, the release added.

The arrested persons, one of whom claimed to be a cinema assistant director, were later produced before a local court.
