The eyes of former RSS chief KS Sudarshan were donated after his death in Raipur on Saturday, in line with his wishes, RSS officials said.
After his death at the RSS office Jagriti Mandal in Pandri area where he was staying, RSS officials informed the doctors. His eyes were donated to Madhav Netra Pidhi, run by an RSS-affiliated organisation.
After brief surgery for the eye donation, the RSS leaders took Sudarshan's body to Nagpur by a special plane for the last rites scheduled to be performed Sunday on afternoon.
