Three minors and a 41-year-old were sexually assaulted in separate incidents in the Capital, police said. Two of these incidents were reported from west Delhi's Kirti Nagar.
A nine-year-old girl was abducted by an autorickshaw driver from near her residence in northeast Delhi's Seemapuri and raped on Saturday afternoon. "The accused, one Om Prakash, 42, forcibly took her to his room in Ghaziabad and raped her," said a senior police officer.
He then dropped her off at a secluded place in Mohan Nagar near the Delhi border. She managed to make her way home later in the evening with the help of another auto-rickshaw driver.
Her mother lodged a police complaint. "A case was registered and Prakash was arrested," the officer added.
In the second incident on Sunday evening, a 15-year-old was apprehended for assaulting his nine-year-old neighbour in south Delhi's RK Puram. Sources claimed the boy tried to insert some foreign objects into her private parts, which lead to bleeding.
These allegations are being investigated. The girl is recuperating at Safdurjung Hospital and is said to be stable.
"The accused assaulted her with a water pipe," said an officer.
The boy has been booked under Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He was produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and sent to a correctional facility.
In the third incident, a four-year-old girl was raped by her neighbour and dumped near the railway tracks in west Delhi's Kirti Nagar on Sunday night. Around 5am on Monday, locals found her lying near the railways tracks and called the police.
The girl lives with her parents in the slums near the railway tracks. On Sunday evening, she was watching TV at a shop when the juvenile took her to an isolated place and raped her. The accused has reportedly been apprehended.
In the fourth incident, a 41-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by two men in Kirti Nagar area on Sunday evening. The accused -- Gaura, 24, and Inamul, 25 -- are her neighbours. They have been arrested.
